Wareham Elementary School

Replacing the older Minot Forest Elementary School, the newly constructed and opened Wareham Elementary School brings together two older elementary schools into one 160,000-square-foot facility.

Supporting Mount Vernon Group Architects (Stoneham, MA) and Agostini Bacon Construction, White Light Visual was engaged to design a range of colorful and engaging murals and supergraphics for the lobby, gymnasium, and cafetorium spaces.   A range of vivid and whimsical visual content was developed to celebrate the community and connect to the refined interior design palette in the building.  The themes range from athletics and movement to the coastal community of Wareham and Cape Cod as well as a reinforcement of learning disciplines such as science, math, arts, and technology.  Extensive murals were designed, produced, and installed by White Light Visual for the project that opened to students in January 2022.  One of the project’s flagship executions was a two-story entry lobby wall was utilized White Light Visual’s design and was produced on high-pressure laminate panels fabricated for WilsonArt and installed in the main stairwell, engineered to withstand years of school-aged hands and traffic.
