Northfield Mount Hermon
For Northfield Mount Hermon, White Light Visual created the super graphics for the new James Gymnasium and Fitness Center renovation working with Jones Whitsett Architects and Renaissance Builders. The signage and graphics packages included room signage, a branding mural, and dimensional lettering honoring the namesake donors along with the school’s “N-M-H” cut from brushed aluminum and studded to a brick wall high above the workout floor.
In the brand-new Gilder Center adjacent to the James Gymnasium, White Light Visual also engineered the entry vestibule donor recognition panels fabricated from 1” thick black acrylic, satin aluminum, and an image's tone and texture of natural slate. The combination yielded a rich representation of etched slate but better engineered to withstand the high-traffic entry. Once completed, the plaque was French-cleated to the walnut-stained millwork.
