UniFirst Celebrates Boston Headquarter Expansion with Iconic Muralscape
UniFirst is one of North America's largest workwear and textile service companies, providing managed uniform, protective clothing, and custom corporate image apparel programs to businesses in diverse industries. Their reach is so prevalent that they put nearly 2 million workers in clean uniforms each workday.
SV Design (an architectural firm and neighbor to White Light Visual in Beverly, MA) recently put the finishing touches on a large expansion to UniFirst's company HQ in Wilmington, MA and called in White Light Visual to conceive, produce and install a colorful mural in the main hallway hundreds of employees travel down each day. Measuring 11' x 44' the unmistakable Boston skyline from over the historic Longfellow bridge provides a powerful backdrop to showcase one of UniFirst's recognizable fleet trucks making its way to Cambridge, MA.
Produced using Dreamscape Bali Hai wall covering, the mural features traditional double-cut seams that disappear, creating a smooth visual with delicate texture and rich color.
Double-cut seams are created by expertly cutting through both layers of the overlapping panels and removing the duplicate material. The edges then line up perfectly and the seam is rolled to blend the two panels.
