Reservations Required. White Light Delivers Environmental Graphics for the Boston Federal Reserve.
When it comes to a class of serious work spaces, the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston located on Atlantic Avenue in Boston's acclaimed waterfront is definitely on the short list. As part of the Central bank of the United States, the Boston Fed works to promote sound growth and financial stability in New England and the nation by conducting economic research, participating in monetary policy-making, supervising certain financial institutions, providing financial services and payments, playing a leadership role in the payments industry, and supporting economic well-being in communities through a variety of efforts.
But what most people might associate with a big, stuffy financial institution: Stark, boring and uninspired is far from the experience of walking through this stunning edifice.
For FRBB, White Light produced a wide range of large, panoramic murals showcasing iconic Boston landmarks such as the Back Bay cityscape as viewed from the Cambridge side of the Charles River, The USS Constitution, Public Gardens as well as Fenway Park, Gillette Stadium and the TD Bank Garden. Many of the murals were done as quad tone images for floor-to-ceiling impact and others were 60" x 60" graphic panels used as visual anchors in otherwise blank spaces.
