Supporting Engelberth Construction, Sasaki Architects and Dartmouth College, White Light Visual produced and installed over 10,000 square feet of murals, dimensional lettering, illuminated branding elements, custom banners and donor recognition signage in the new Indoor Practice Facility (IPF) on the college's storied campus in Hanover, NH.
The Dartmouth College Indoor Practice Facility is a 70,000 square foot facility that will provide an indoor practice venue to help the northern-most Ivy League School mitigate the region's challenging weather. Eight teams — men’s and women’s lacrosse, men’s and women’s soccer, football, baseball, softball and women’s rugby — will access the space and hone their advanced skills on the simulated non-infill turf surface
Two ends of the massive venue are flanked with 25' tall x 200' wide murals showcasing the iconic school's green branding elements such as the Dartmouth "D" and the Lone Pine. White Light Visual used high-resolution-imaged Ultraflex Bali Hai wall covering, produced and installed in 50 vertical sections, and double-cut each panel's crossover for a seamless image. On the East wall, a series of eleven custom-notched 15' x 25' banners further reinforced the college's name in wall recesses. A viewing mezzanine is also adorned with an 88" halo-lit dimensional Dartmouth "D" as well as a 2-story stairwell mural with dimensional metal letters that completes one of the largest supergraphics projects of its kind.
