The Carver Elementary School opened in September 2018 and represents one of the most forward-thinking, architecturally-beautiful schools of its kind. The building is a 2-story 112,350 SF marvel immediately adjacent the existing school that is extraordinarily energy efficient and also Northeast CHPS verified.
Working with HMFH Architects (Cambridge, MA) White Light Visual was asked to engage on the project to help engineer, produce and install the environmental graphics package throughout the school. The Town of Carver, MA contracted White Light to put the finishing touches on the school in late August consisting of expansive wall murals using Dreamscape Bali Hai wall coverings, color coordinated cut vinyl lettering color matched to Sherwin Williams color palettes throughout the school as well as custom, etched stainless steel plaques designed to call out key elements of the Town's heritage in the deeply historic Cape Cod neighboring community, rich in cranberry bogs and Native American culture. The expansive mural is actually an elaborate design that incorporates student artwork inset into a cranberry motif with hundreds of student creations on display across a wide space.
